A black screen appears upon starting the game, requiring manual PC restarts.
My PC recently crashes during game startup or shortly thereafter, affecting Paladins, League of Legends, and Overwatch. The issue manifests as a black screen with "no signal" accompanied by brief audio before the system ceases to function, despite continued fan operation and power supply activity. Forced restarts occur frequently, particularly during graphically intensive moments such as explosions or lag-prone victory/defeat screens. Prior to my recent return from vacation, the PC operated without issues. I have owned the PC for several months with no previous problems, and the games' specifications are compatible with my hardware.
Specifications:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600
GPU: Radeon RX 580 Series
RAM: 16.0 GB
MoBo: Gigabyte B450M DS3H
PSU: Corsair VS650
Event Viewer logs indicate a "critical" error with the message: “The device HID-compliant headset (location (unknown)) is offline due to a user-mode driver crash. Windows will attempt to restart the device 4 more times. Please contact the device manufacturer for more information about this problem.” I have updated drivers and Windows, verified cable connections, and attempted numerous troubleshooting steps without success. I am seeking assistance due to my limited technical expertise.
and why is it suddenly occurring after months of use without issues?
