A bit odd inquiry regarding Steam

Hi, I didn't upload money or buy anything on Steam until today when I purchased NFS Heat Deluxe Edition for 21 euros. I'm wondering if I can now add friends, sell items on the trade market, or if I need to upload at least 5 dollars on Steam to use those features. Based on my understanding, the game I bought is more than 5 dollars, so I should have access. But I'm not sure if this is the right question. Thanks in advance, and sorry if it seems simple.
