Yes, you can reach a 1:1:1 ratio with a 3800MHz frequency.

Zen 2 performance varies. Most chips support 3600MHz or even 1800MHz, but 1900MHz may be harder to achieve.

Initially I believed that, but it seems the updated XT series chips could have resolved that issue or improved performance at higher speeds.

It seems the Interconnect will likely perform similarly, possibly slightly improved. I believe 1900 on the XT chips remains a challenging task at least from my perspective. We should conduct additional tests before drawing conclusions, as I haven't seen anyone verify the FCLK for these chips yet.

I doubt it will be much better overall. But with Zen 3 we’re likely to see over 2000MHz on the FCLK, which would be a significant boost. Given this, I wouldn’t consider a Zen 2 XT chip anymore considering how close Zen 3 is.

I'm not concerned about Zen 3 yet; the rasterization will impress me. In my area, it'll take at least a year before prices drop enough to be reasonable. An X/XT chip works well for me. Also, the cost in Australia is double what it would be elsewhere.

It sounds like you’re familiar with the pricing dynamics. For me, the 3600XT is the best fit because it’s primarily aimed at gaming setups, offering extra clock speed when needed. The 3800XT doesn’t make sense from a cost perspective, especially since a 3900X is available at a similar price point. I haven’t explored the 3900X redesign of the 3900X yet.

I'm opting for the 3600XT because, based on performance per dollar, watts, and clock speed, it offers a better value. Steve from gamers-nexus achieved 4.6Hz across all cores, which is impressive when compared to the original Yyzen's 4.2/3Ghz all-core. It's even more remarkable given how often you can find good silicon deals.
