They're wherever it is, cheap for them to use. It might even be your ISP.

It seems there are some misunderstandings about internet performance. ISP advertised speeds usually represent the maximum speed available, but throttling can affect actual performance. Ping measures the delay in data transfer between your device and a server, not just bandwidth. It reflects how quickly data travels, which can be impacted by distance or network congestion. Server location matters too—localized servers like those for Facebook or Google may offer better results for nearby users. If you're far from the server, your ping will likely be higher. Let me know if you'd like more details!

Hey, I’m sorry for you... Got it, let’s get back on track. If you’re in the remote area, you’ll have to deal with that... But if you’re not, then it’s your issue. Issues like router problems, connection drops, ISP problems, background apps, etc.

It's completely clear on this. Ping is measured by distance, so speeds will vary depending on your location. I'd only see advertised rates if I was connected locally—getting data from the ISP nearby. From here to Lisbon, I won't reach 100Mbps. Doesn't everyone know Facebook has servers worldwide?

You're close to a major server, but your location might still affect the connection speed.
