I’m looking into where I can find an 8700 for $300 new. The prices on PCPartPicker show it’s listed around $425, with the lowest in stock at $453. The 9700 is even cheaper at $442. I prefer the newest model and bought the i3 since it met my needs back then. I don’t need to sell anything unless it’s a good deal. Thanks for the details about the VRM—I’m hoping everything works out.
