I’m considering upgrading from a Z390 Pro Wi-Fi card to an I9-9900K. Should I keep my current setup or switch to a new motherboard for Intel 10th Gen or AMD? Also, what do you think? Do you need more details about the options? I’m still learning how to pick a PC.

For gaming? It depends on whether you prefer a lower cost with less performance or a higher price for better performance. The choice is yours, but no one here knows your income or spending habits.

Primarily focused on gaming with occasional light streaming. I’ve already saved up 1k SGD, as I’m based in Singapore. My budget seems to be around 1.5k max.

It really depends on your needs. If you're okay with keeping the LGA 1151 and a 9900k, stick with it. If you're planning to switch platforms, go for the 10700k and aim for a 3700x upgrade. But unless you're in a tight spot, hold off unless you really need a new PC now.
