Hello, you're considering upgrading from an i5 9600K to an i9 9900K on your Asus Rog Strix Z370-H motherboard. I want to know if the board will support the new processor without overclocking.

It's a basic VRM package. Could be a bit unstable under heavy loads. Need to manage VRM temperatures reliably.

You're set up with a good balance of components. The Lian Li Lancool 2 Mesh Performance paired with a 240mm AIO cooler and 140mm intake should handle the workload well. Pairing it with an RTX 3070 looks solid for gaming performance.

Well, I won't be sure until you give it a try. But I believe it should start up properly. The temperatures? That chip seems likely to hit 90°C or higher under heavy use.

Sure, I'll hold off and check if anyone has this setup.
