Simply put, I changed from a 9700 to a 9900K and turned XMP off. When I switched it back on, my PC kept crashing with BSOD three times. After resetting the BIOS to defaults, I re-enabled XMP and set the RAM to 3600MHz, which matched its specifications. Since then, no blue screens have appeared—it seems the BIOS was still configured for the 9700 instead of the 9900K.

Likely okay. Motherboards and IMC handle memory training, and it seems the issue was resolved using the 9900k and retraining.

Great news! Thanks for letting me know. The XMP update went smoothly without any problems. It seemed odd at first after the swap, but everything resumed normally once the BIOS reset.

Perform some stress tests and run MemTest. If everything is fine, there should be no issues with apps or games.

I completed the Anta777 mem test for more than an hour without any issues, and I played a few games smoothly with no crashes! Good luck!
