For cooler settings I suggest using a -20 to -30 Curve Optimizer. Performance varies by CPU model—some handle -30, others only -20. I applied this on my 7700x and saved 15c. It was the first step with my 9800X3D when PBO was enabled. Now I run at 5.5ghz up from 5.25ghz across all cores. I didn’t test temperatures beforehand; I just started it on boot. Even under full load, I still reached around 95C, but during games it’s about 70-75C even in Stalker.
I'll attempt it now. It's experiencing throttling and performance under 5GHz across all cores on the Cine R24.
Check the video closely. Try -30 first, then adjust to -25 if needed to test stability.
Remember Cinebench's high demand isn't typical for regular gaming.
cinebench behaves much like a full gaming workload, while Space Marine 2 performed better during launch. Blender, Linpack, and P95 all demand more power (though some tasks are lighter). I usually don’t notice heavy CPU usage unless it hits around 200W, which depends on your setup. A 145W 95C is acceptable, but I suggest lowering the voltage or using CO for better efficiency.
