i have an fx 8320e with 4.5ghz, 1.35vcore, 100mv offset. when running prime it gets 80-90c. should i lower my cpu to avoid damage? my cpu package is usually in the 55-60 c range.

I've been tweaking fan speeds to balance noise and performance. My GPU and CPU are consistently running BOINC apps at 100%, and my CPUTIN is now at 60°C. What's your actual CPU temperature? If you're unsure, try installing hwmonitor and let it run quietly in the background.

This temperature is too high for long-term reliability. I’d reduce it slightly to observe the changes. Which device are you using to track your system temperatures?

When testing stability with amdoverdrive, it's recommended to use the CPU VID voltage or offset voltage.

I've been tweaking fan speeds to balance noise and performance while keeping both my GPU and CPU running BOINC apps at full capacity. My current CPU temperature is around 60°C. If you're unsure, try installing hwmonitor and let it monitor in the background.

the board is missing the cpu fan sensor and several cha fans, likely fixed by a bios update

also this board is missing cpu fan sensor and some cha fans, i think a bios update should resolve this issue. I hope so too. It appears there are several missing features in the bios. You can only adjust speed for the main cpu and chassis fans; other fans remain on or off.
