Even though many think it would slow things down, it works smoothly on sli and AMD. Of course, you could get a bit faster with Intel, but I’m completely satisfied with what I have.

Cherry picked game. Consider playing Arma 3 now. Or even better, attempt dying Light, StarCraft 2, any Assassin's Creed title, Far Cry 4.

Arma 3 runs poorly on the GPU and is mainly CPU-intensive, offering little benefit for GPU usage. I can keep my GPU cool while playing Arma 3 and Dayz at 1440p, since it only requires minimal GPU power—even with a 4790k @ 4.8.

They consume a lot of energy despite offering good performance. That's why I skip AMD CPUs. It requires too many premium components for a reliable setup.

Perform the same tests focusing on FPS and frame times using the BF4 in-game. Essentially the same approach, just measuring those metrics instead of just the stats. This worked similarly across different games, even with a single card feeling too intense.

Honestly, the lowest FPS is not ideal.

Maybe he's trying out a game he plays often. If he doesn't play those games, why would he test them? And CrysRus does run well, being one of the few multithreaded-optimized titles.
