DRagor :
You must definitely have a CPU cooler, otherwise it would be ruined before you begin playing.

The CPU is running at 90c? Where do you get your temperatures from? What cooler are you employing? Are you sure it's installed correctly?

Do you have a well-structured case flow? Sometimes adding one more fan makes a big difference.

Check where the air is going and from which direction it comes.

Yes, the CPU... I'm using MSI afterburner and two fans. I'm confident it's mounted right.
But if it reaches 90c in BF1—especially not close to reaching max with a GTX 1050—then the cooler might not be enough, the mount could be off, you may not have applied enough thermal paste, or you're applying too much voltage to the CPU.
Lol, I think I'm applying way too much voltage. R.I.P Overclocking.

the k version of the 7700 doesn't include a CPU cooler by default, so understanding the type you purchased might be useful.

Overclocking remains feasible without causing excessive heat from the CPU under normal workloads. Sharing the cooler model we use could help determine an appropriate voltage range for better performance.
