I'm still stuck using 2133MHz with 16GB RAM, wondering if 8GB at 3600MHz would be enough instead of running full 16GB at lower speeds. Would it make more sense to buy another pair of 8GB Furyx sticks at 3600MHz? I'm not sure if playing Cod Modern Warfare on 8GB will work smoothly with that setup.

You could simply assess the variation because you possess complete equipment...

Using an RX580 with an 8GB card in three slots at the same speed as a 590 from Evga works fine.

A quicker memory would make a big difference. However, as @Sauron mentioned, try it yourself. The improvement in speed could vary based on your specific tasks.

I’m focusing on the performance side only. I could skip playing Cod entirely and use the extra 8GB whenever needed.

My first thought was that increasing the clock speed would make running Yuzu, RP-CX3, and Cemu much smoother.

Are you really relying on more than 8GB of RAM at any time? Also, considering the 3600MHZ unit is just one device, it might not offer a clear advantage if you don’t need dual channels.

I wouldn't purchase any board without 4Dimm slots. Moreover, I really need a storage size of 24GB or 32GB. When I run Photoshop alongside Chrome, I encounter page file errors and the computer freezes because RAM is nearly full. My Photoshop add-ons now require a dedicated USB SSD, but they still load into RAM unless needed. Code Modern Warfare can handle more than 16GB with proper optimization using sun and shadow caching, which also limits performance for Obsidian, game bar recording, or relive features. As mentioned in my signature, the specs are mostly accurate, though the HyperX model is actually 3600MHz—something I only realized today. Code is the only game I know that uses the full 16GB, and Photoshop with Chrome still needs the entire 16GB unless I adjust settings to use 8GB. That way it runs smoothly, but it feels like it's not working at all.
