I suggest going with Scythe Fuma 2 for simpler RAM swapping. The slim front fan won’t obstruct RAM placement. Regarding removal—my experience shows the 6700K likely had even poorer thermal performance than the 8700K, but after delidding and adding a cooler, it cooled down by about 13-14°C with sufficient cooling.

You can lift the fan to fit most RAM, though this depends on your case's width if raising it lets you close the body. I own a Corsair 275R Airflow, nearly identical to the 270R. It works well with the large Deepcool Assassin 3, matching its style and dimensions to the Noctua model. It only just fits low-profile Corsair LPX memory, and the second fan almost grazes the glass. The Scythe Fuma 2 is a solid choice—it accommodates all RAM and most cases while delivering decent performance.

It also looks similar to NH-D15 in performance.

I recently set up the Scythe Fuma 2 and am experiencing temperatures between 55-60 degrees. That's quite surprising. The case fans should be available soon, which should help lower the heat.
