Initially, my PC had 4 GB of RAM. Later, I replaced it with the same model and upgraded to 8 GB, but the system kept showing "8 GB (4 GB usable)" even after turning it off. I tried using msconfig, but it’s not functioning properly now. Please help!

Operating systems employ various architectures, ranging from 32-bit to 64-bit. Systems with 32-bit architecture are limited to 4 GB of RAM, whereas those supporting 64-bit can utilize up to 8 GB.

Check your system settings and share the load with your built-in graphics card (ATI Radeon™ HD 3000 GPU). Make sure it uses no more than 1GB of RAM. Also, attempt to turn off the built-in graphics in your BIOS.

Refer to the tutorial at the provided link. If it doesn't help, run Memtest to check for memory issues.
