Hello! I’m checking if your MSI A320M PRO-E will work well with 8GB RAM and 4GB RAM at 2400mhz. Since you’re new to building PCs, adding extra RAM should help performance, but make sure the system meets the minimum requirements.

Using the same RAM sticks in pairs is recommended to avoid potential problems. Because they share the same frequency, there’s no major concern except testing them to see how they perform.

I've been running 16 GB of 2666 SK Hynix and 32 GB of 3200 Samsung B-Die together without any problems. It might cause issues, though it's less common now. I used the same RAM configuration on a Ryzen 2700 and a Coffee Lake i3. You can test it yourself—compare performance before and after to see the impact.
