Using DDR4 at such low frequencies greatly restricts the performance of a Ryzen Zen 2 and Zen 3 CPU (models 3000, 4000 or 5000). Swap in faster RAM, preferably 3200 MHz or higher, and enable Dual Channel.
Could I capture an image of the 2400 stick to ensure the ics (black squares) are clear? If it includes good ics, you just need another used 8GB stick with the same ics (often available for bare PCB) and up to 3200. If it’s a low-quality version like an 8GBM, that’s an L and you should opt for a 3200 kit instead.
