Consider game benchmarks at your actual display settings. If performance drops noticeably—like 30% slower on a higher resolution—opt for the higher resolution despite the cost. A 5900x offers better responsiveness, letting you multitask more comfortably without stressing over background processes or managing multiple monitors. The 5800x3d provides only marginal gains and can feel limiting.

I purchased X3D because I'm not a gamer. I don't play enough games to justify such a CPU; I prefer everyday tasks and benchmarking. It's not a waste since my older brother will get X3D and my youngest will have 5600X while I use 5900X. For me, it works just fine.

I’ve purchased numerous items that seem unrelated, which helps me decide what to suggest and what not to. I don’t want to argue or depend solely on tech enthusiasts’ opinions for accuracy. Right now I’m running the 13600k, while my 12700k is lying idle on a shelf. It’s confusing, but I wanted to understand the excitement. I also own a 5800x, 5900x and recently sold my 3700x and 5600x. Keeping all those isn’t practical since I only manage two systems. Still, it’s about passion and enjoying the process of tinkering.
