For the past couple of weeks, I've been grappling with an issue concerning either my 7900XT graphics card or my Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor. I'm uncertain which component is causing the problem, but I'll outline my observations below. I play a various number of games, like: Assetto Corsa Competizione Valorant Minecraft and many more In those, which mentioned at the top my issue definitely seems most pronounced, which are weird lags/lag spikes. My FPS are not very stable. Sometimes they randomly drop, and make weird artifacts on the monitor. In assetto corsa competizione it's the worst. The game drops from 165 fps (v-sync capped) to like 5 fps, which makes this game absolutely unplayable. Why I am not sure, if it is the processor or the graphics card (or whatever it could be) is, because I looked at workload from the CPU and GPU in AMD Adrenalin. There I found the graph to drop from 40% workload to 15-20% on the cpu side, and from 100% workload to 40-50% on the gpu side, which causes those lags. If you need my pc configuration, there is everything you need to know: CPU: Ryzen 7800X3D GPU: RX 7900XT Sapphire reference design Motherboard: MSI B650 Carbon WIFI PSU: Be quiet Pure Power 12M 850W RAM: 2x16GB 6000MHz DDR5 RAM Fixes, I've already tried: Undervolting the CPU (helped a bit) Undervolting the GPU (did not help at all) Turned on/off freesync (nothing changed) Turned on/off Core Performance Boost (off helped a bit) Turned off anti lag in AMD adrenalin (helped at the beginning, not anymore) What could be important too: I tried various benchmarks, where my graphics card did pretty well, but my cpu was like 5% below the average scores. In those benchmarks there didn't occur any weird lags or spikes. I don't know if this tells us something, but I mentioned it because it could help maybe. You can see those spikes in the picture i provided below. The orange graph is the CPU and the red graph is the GPU. If someone could help me I would be very thankful, because I don't know what to do anymore

Which AMD Adrenalin drivers are installed? Did this happen after updating to the latest version?

Certainly! Could you provide more details about what you're referring to? That way I can give you a clearer and more accurate description.

I'm currently using 24.1.1, the most recent release. It seems the update may have introduced issues.

It's similar to a minor issue. In Valorant, the problem appears occasionally but isn't severe—just a slight tear with some stuttering. In Assetto Corsa Cometizione, the error causes some textures to load missing and strange delays occur.

It was a problem with version 24.1.1 and stuttering in BF2042. Before I could remove the update and go back to 23.12.1, my registry got damaged and I think it was related. You can find more details in my recent status update here.

CPU and GPU temps appear normal... Is Memory EXPO/XMP activated in BIOS? Are you playing games at full screen or another configuration (like Borderless, windowed)? Is the motherboard BIOS current? What’s your OS storage setup (HDD, SSD, etc.)?

XMP is activated. I'm employing both, with a focus on borderless mode. The BIOS is current. Could you clarify what you mean by configured? On my system, I have a WD_BLACK M.2 SSD installed.
