I understand the 7900X isn't included with the CPU cooler, but I did purchase a dark rock Pro 5 to pair with it. Unfortunately, it lacked the AMD mounting hardware, so I'm sourcing one from Be Quiet. In the meantime, can I use my Wrath prism cooler for the new system? It might help get things running and could even work for gaming—just curious what I might be getting.

I wouldn't suggest gaming, but you should be able to set up Windows and certain applications. Be aware that installing software can consume a lot of CPU power based on your storage speed and internet connection. I think I'd start with HWINFO64 just to monitor temperatures. This model of AMD tends to overheat by default.

You're all set for now. Launch Ryzen Master, disable PBO or switch to Eco mode before installing Dark Rock.
