Hey there, I just set up my new PC last week and wasn’t quite impressed with its performance. Here are the specs: Ryzen 7 9700X, 32 GB RAM, 6000 MT/s CL, CL30, Powercolor Hellhound 7900 XT. The ASUS X870 Pro RS Wi-Fi drivers are updated, BIOS flashed, AMD Adrenalin installed, and HYPR-RX preset used. GPU is running at full capacity during tests. However, in Cinebench 2024 it barely reaches 1000 points. Any missed factors or is this normal?

Cinebench measures CPU performance, not GPU. The 9700X was tested, not the 7900XT.

I performed the GPU evaluation without running it on a single CPU core, focusing on multicore performance.

Additionally, perform other tests besides Cinebench GPU. Consider using 3DMark or Unigine for more comprehensive evaluation. If results remain poor, it’s likely the GPU issue; otherwise, it might be a Cinebench limitation.

A FurMark was just run. There are sites that list benchmarks for comparison.

Check it out here! I’m new to Furmark but I understand it’s mainly used for stress testing rather than standard benchmarking.
