Avoid expecting 8000 MHz memory at below average costs (mobo). HuB's 870 chipset video allowed only premium mobos to run at 8000 MHz (probably starting around 450$). Those with tighter budgets had to settle for lower options (around 7400 below that price). You probably won't even notice the difference.

No one should anticipate 8000MT/s with Zen4/5 at a 1:1 ratio. This is completely out of reach. If you assume you're purchasing these chips and simply adjusting XMP/EXPO to 8000 without issue, you're probably mistaken. Moreover, it's pointless to try this in the first place. (As discussed earlier in the discussion.) Avoid getting distracted by marketing claims.

I was looking at the x870 msi tomahawk since are all talking good things about it... I know right now there isn't a lot of info since it is new. But I will buy a normal MB nothing crazy... 200-250€. Like you said, I don't want anything crazy... Stable things and auto OC with the EXPO... We will see if the ddr5 6000 are good ones for the 9800x3d since the GSkill are at good price right now for the 2x16gb CL30. Also, I will buy the 4070Ti Super since 5000 will be at 1000€ at least, since they will announce the 5080-90s... (I think) You recommend doing undervolt in these CPUs? The x3ds? I saw that a lot of people here do little undervolts.

Optimizing curves with undervoltage is now straightforward. It's a good idea to explore it after getting settled.

The 7800X3D price isn't the manufacturer's suggested retail price; it's influenced by market conditions. As mentioned, if this occurs, the 9800X3D could increase, mainly due to supply and demand or bulk buyers. AMD plans to sell the 9800X3D for up to $499, and I can secure a bundled deal at Microcenter at a reduced price.

New cost from AMD is $479, which isn't too high. More affordable than expected, see the article for details.
