I increased my 750 ti 50 mhz in PrecisionX and started Black Ops 3. After roughly five minutes the game became frozen. I powered off the machine and restarted it after thirty minutes. Now Black Ops 3 operates at a maximum of 20fps with the same graphics settings as before. It typically runs between 70-80. Did this affect my GPU?

Begin windows in safe mode, and remove catalyst control center along with all its registry entries that might exist in your app data. To enter safe mode, restart and when you reach the black windows startup screen (not the login), press f8 to access the boot option. While there, uninstall CCC, then click the start button. Enter "%appdata%" in the search bar and press enter to check for a catalyst control folder. Remove it if present, possibly under an AMD directory. Avoid deleting the amd folder since other crucial files could be there. Proceed with reinstalling it...

Begin windows in safe mode, removing catalyst control center and all its registry entries which are likely stored in your app data. To enter safe mode, restart and when you reach the black windows startup screen (not the login), press f8 to access the boot option. While there, uninstall CCC, then click the start button. Enter "%appdata%" in the search bar and press enter to check for a catalyst control folder. Remove it if present, possibly under an AMD subfolder. Avoid deleting the amd folder as it might contain essential files. Reinstall it or skip it. I personally prefer using MSI Afterburner for GPU tasks such as overclocking.
