I've been using my computer for some time without any problems. While trying to close a program in Task Manager, I saw my idle RAM usage at 70% and my processor speed dropping to 1333MHz. At first, I thought it was due to Windows updates running quietly, but after installing them for a full day and staying busy, the issue persisted. I own some off-brand RAM (probably from a deal on Reddit) since I got it from BuildAPC Sales, but this is causing me frustration. If anyone has faced this problem and found a fix, please let me know. Here are my Task Manager screenshots.

Pc Specs:
Amd Ryzen 5 2600x GTX 1070 founders edition V-colo Prism II 16GB kit 3200MHz

I recall when steam would take over and I had to turn it off in Task Manager at startup.

I also checked online for solutions and discovered a program named RAMMap that reduces usage significantly. However, it tends to return to around 50% after a minute and jumps back to 70% when the PC restarts. I also tried Windows10Debloater, but it didn’t provide any noticeable improvements.

Question the effectiveness of these methods. Reset the CMOS before testing at 3200, since it's unclear how performance behaves under stress.

You believe it's not running because it seems to be active, like a 51 background task remains even after Chrome is closed.

I was attempting to describe what my computer would display right after a quick shutdown.

It seems your PC is showing 11 GB of RAM usage right away after powering it on. This could be due to background processes, startup programs, or system diagnostics running. Since this is your first visit, please let me know if you'd like clarification on what might be causing this behavior.
