I have a 6900k on an x99 sabertooth and am struggling to reach turbo boost above 4.0 ghz. I've increased the current limit, adjusted voltage to 1.3V, and set max multiplier to 43. Is there something missing? Currently it only reaches 4.0 and then stops.

Overclocking is unpredictable. The outcome heavily relies on the specific chip.

Consider updating your BIOS, resetting all settings to their original state, and then attempt the process once more.

Consider updating your BIOS and resetting everything to the default settings, then attempt again. That didn't work, so I'm giving up for now and sticking with version 4.0 for the moment. The performance gap between 4.3 and 4.0 isn't worth the hassle right now.
