Hello everyone, I recently assembled my PC two days ago and purchased a 6750 Xeon (link provided along with my build details). When playing Valorant at 1440p, I achieved about 125 frames per second, which is lower than the FPS benchmarks I expected. I suspect the issue might be related to the GPU being overclocked, as I read online that it can affect performance with other components. I wasn’t aware of this when I bought the graphics card. Could the GPU’s overclocking be impacting my system? Are there any steps I can take to improve its performance? Thanks for your advice! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Cs7BRv

The card's factory overclocking won't affect your system. What temperatures are you experiencing during gameplay? Have you installed the latest graphics drivers via GeForce Experience?

I've saved drivers from AMD support, yet I haven't experienced any issues with temperatures staying near 60 degrees.

Sure thing! Here’s a revised version:

Hey, I just realized something funny—you’re running an AMD card instead of an Nvidia one. Let me install AMD Adrenalin for you here: https://drivers.amd.com/drivers/whql-amd...1-dec8.exe

I've saved the AMD Adrenalin files already. I'm not sure if you need another download since the GPU was installed. There might be an issue with the BIOS—let me know if you think that's the problem. Also, confirm the correct BIOS version for your system.

Checking Task Manager will show you the current speed of your RAM, usually measured in MHz or GB/s.

If you have adrenaline, it should manage updates for you. In Adrenalin check for driver updates and install if needed. Next, let me know the temperatures your system reaches while playing a game. The task manager can provide details on CPU, GPU, RAM usage, etc.

It seems you were using vSync but experienced freezing despite around 300 FPS. The high temperature of about 60°C might have affected performance. You may want to adjust your settings or check for other causes of instability.

Your processor might limit performance if the GPU isn't powerful enough
