I plan to switch from a Phenom II 955 & R9 270 to an i7 8700k and 2080. I'm currently stuck about which PSU to purchase for them.
I have a Sirtec High Power Element 500W 80+ Bronze unit.
These are the three options I’m considering:
EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G3 80 PLUS Gold (650W) Fully Modular (90€)
Corsair RM 650x 80 PLUS Gold (650W) Fully Modular (97€)
Corsair CXM 750W 80+ Bronze (750W) Semi Modular (94€)
After some research, I discovered 750W Gold Plus models priced about 15€ higher than the 650W Gold Plus ones. I’d appreciate recommendations for these as well.
Corsair RM 750x 80 PLUS Gold (750W) Fully Modular (112€)
EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G + 80 Plus Gold (750W) Fully Modular (105€)
EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3 80 Plus Gold (750W) Fully Modular (110€)
I’m not sure how much the difference is between the G3 and G+ from EVGA, so I’d like some guidance.
Thanks.

Generally: G3 surpasses G2, which in turn exceeds G+ and G1. The RMx model outperforms the CXM (650x/750x is RMx series, not RM), and I recommend either G3 or RMx. Both offer reliable power with a decade-long warranty.
