Hey, you're thinking about boosting your RAM. (I'm using an mITX setup so adding more sticks isn't possible.) Comparing the options: 3600 CL18 for £240 or 3200 CL16 for £154? The 32GB kit is also just £150. There are 64GB options available online. You're wondering if you can fit the 3200 model into the 3600 with the same speeds.

Choosing between 3000, 5000 or 4000 Pro is a common debate. I prefer 32GB of 3600 for now. For 64GB you might aim for around 3200, but expect stability challenges—many Ryzen controllers struggle with that speed and it could affect performance across channels.

I think 16 GB feels a bit restrictive for me because I enjoy running many tabs and playing games at once, but 32 GB works just fine for me, and 64 GB seems excessive. DDR5 support could arrive soon, so it’s hard to say what’s best now. For now, I’d pick the 32 GB 3200 MHz option at CL16, depending on your case latency and memory speeds, among other factors.

This would be essential data for recommendations. I’d confidently go with 64 GB of 3200, but you might need to tweak the SoC voltage and/or timing if stability comes up, as performance can differ slightly across boards.
