You're asking about a 16-bit component you're still attempting to utilize.

32-bit operating systems offer advantages. Systems with under 2GB RAM perform poorly on 64-bit versions because of larger instruction sizes. For instance, a 64-bit CPU with 1GB RAM in my dad's old laptop runs exceptionally fast—web browsing becomes nearly unachievable. On the other hand, 32-bit versions use less memory and provide a smoother experience overall.

I understand... Apologies for the error... It seems the build listed in his profile is already sufficient. Downgrading to 32-bit wouldn't offer much advantage.

No, it's not my rig... This one is different... All my gear runs on 64-bit... Everything I own uses a 64-bit architecture...

It seems you were expecting a particular version but found alternatives. If you need to revert, a fresh installation would be best. A quick search revealed a 32-bit Windows 8.1, though it may need additional licensing. Consider reaching out to Microsoft for more details.
