Hey everyone, I'm facing a strange problem. When I tried to play Vanishing of Ethan Carter in 64-bit mode, the game froze after just one frame and stuttered heavily. It felt like it was crashing, so I had to go back to the menu to start a new game. After that, I switched to 32-bit and it ran smoothly at around 90 frames per second. However, the textures looked poor since the version doesn't support changes. I'm aware my PC isn't powerful, but it should be able to handle more than one frame per second. Here are my details: CPU – Intel Core i3-4160 3.6GHz Dual-Core ($111.99 on SuperBiiz), Motherboard – Asus B85M-G Micro ATX LGA1150 ($85.33 on Amazon), RAM – A-Data 8GB DDR3-1600 ($92.98 on Amazon), Graphics – MSI Radeon R9 270X 2GB ($163.98 on Newegg).

It wouldn't even work with 32-bit architecture.

Renamed the 32bit executable to 32bit.bak and the 64bit executable to 32bit. Running them confirmed the issue with Catalyst Control Centre lacking a 64bit application profile. Also ensured file extensions were enabled in Folder Options.

He runs a 64-bit operating system... CCC and nVidia control panel employ executable names to configure driver profiles for games. Occasionally, 64-bit versions aren't available in the drivers.
