I'm facing an issue with my new laptop. I got it yesterday and installed the latest updates and drivers. But when playing games, the frame rate stays at 60fps. VSync is disabled in both the settings and the game, the DVR isn't working, and I even removed the Xbox app. The only solution seems to be a full restart, after which everything functions properly again. However, if I let it sleep or shut it down, the same glitch recurs. This problem might be related to my Dell 7567 gaming series with a GTX 1050 Ti.

It doesn't really matter since you can't notice the additional frames. In fact, it might only cause more tearing.

There are many delays, particularly in FPS titles. The experience improves significantly when playing at a frame rate higher than the display's maximum refresh rate.

This comment seems confusing. Could you explain which games you're using and the settings you're working with? I'm curious about why you think you need more than 60 frames per second when your monitor only supports 60Hz. Why would you benefit from exceeding that number in your situation? Also, please remember to mention people like @bleedblue if you want them tagged, or we won't see your response.

Playing titles such as CS:GO or Overwatch shows a big difference between 60 FPS and 120 FPS. It's easy to notice input lag when the game runs smoothly at 60 FPS, and plenty of videos support this idea.

Regardless of your thoughts about sub-ms input lag, you haven’t shared any helpful details. Please tell us which games you’re playing and the settings you’re using. Also, let me know what operating system you’re on. Providing this information will help us resolve the issue effectively.

Appreciate those who don’t understand the conversation around them—there’s a good reason players choose CS:GO or Overwatch at 300fps.

That's correct, I mentioned CS:GO and Overwatch with those settings.

You seem to prefer higher frame rates and lower settings for better performance.
