For some reason my games only reach up to 60 fps even though I didn’t set a limit, anyone help?
Are you checking if Vsync is enabled either in the Nvidia Control Panel or within the games? Which specific games are you referring to?
don't think you have VSync enabled for those games: GTA V, R6s, SCP Secret Lab, etc.
Ensure vsync is disabled.
Access the Nvidia Control Panel, then manage 3D settings, scroll to 'Vertical Sync' and set it to 'Use the 3D application setting'.
In the game, verify that vertical sync is turned off.
Perform a benchmark with fraps and check if the maximum FPS exceeds 60.

A monitor operates at a specific frequency. If your purchased monitor is a 60Hz model, it will function at that rate unless you increase its speed beyond the standard limit. Hz and fps remain independent as long as you avoid using Freesync, Gsync or Vsync together.
