I've experienced around 23fps in TF2 for the longest time, so I understand the struggle. ~25 in grid 2 and ~35 in driver San Francisco are manageable; ;-;

It's slow - I agree. 35 works well with steady frame rate. Use Riva Tuner and set FPS to 35 in any game.

Only asked if 60-80 fps feels slow.
Friend played BF4 on a 2GB GTX 680 and didn’t notice any issues.

On 1080p ultra it stays under 2050MB, keep it simple

I mostly run games at 60 FPS, anything under 50 is quite unpleasant.

I've experienced around 20-30 FPS for more than three months in BF4. Are you even aware of the impact that FPS has on this game? UN-playable. After four months of returning faulty Corsair RAM twice, my gaming PC now runs smoothly at all 200 FPS. So 60 FPS is just fine.

It's just the frame rate fluctuating, which isn't unusual and isn't a problem. "Laggy" isn't the right term here. You're likely referring to what's happening. Normally I don't fix people's spelling, but this looks like a common mistake. The user mentioned only one GPU, not multiple, so microstutter isn't the issue they're describing.

I use Dual R7 260x with CrossfireX for BF4. I achieve around 100-150 FPS in Auto Med-High settings. It performs well, so why isn't 960 improving? I'm also at 1080p, and 60 frames is decent. FPS drops on different maps and with varying player counts. For example, a busy server at Hanian Resort during Conquest might drop to about 60 FPS, while a half-full server nearby could reach 80. It really depends on the GPU's rendering load.

ideal speed range is around 60 to 80 frames per second. this works well with a 60hz monitor, though you may notice drops when it falls below that. in my view, anything above 30 fps is manageable (depending on the game and your comfort level). i personally played Guild Wars with less than 20 fps before, as long as it stayed steady and didn<|pad|>.
