Hello, it seems the I5-11600F might struggle under the load of an RTX 4060 with a 1080p 60Hz display. An I7-11700F could likely handle it better.

At 1080p it seems the CPU might struggle, but I believe 1440p or higher works well.

Isn't 1440p a tougher requirement? The card should manage it, but I'm checking if the CPU can keep up.

The issue seems to lie in the monitors' 60Hz refresh rate. Identifying bottlenecks isn't very useful here. Set your performance goals first, no matter what.

Lower resolution means greater CPU strain, while higher resolution increases GPU demand. Also, your monitor refresh rate is quite low compared to these specs—unless you're running Cyberpunk 2077 at high settings, you likely don’t need a powerful GPU.

It's perfect for high-end gaming scenarios. Avoid titles such as cyberpunk or spiderman.

For an i5 11th Gen processor, it should work well.

The i5 11600F is more than adequate for an RTX 4060. Its performance matches that of the RTX 2070 Super, and it offers similar gaming speed to current CPUs from that era. If the Core i9 9900K didn’t cause bottlenecks with the 2070S, your i5 11600F should perform well too. There might be rare cases where CPU limits appear, but these are unlikely to be common.
