Just a note for all who mention 2.6 GHz—it's not a Wi-Fi frequency. It's actually about 2.4 GHz (Wireless B, G, and base Wireless N). The 5 GHz band supports Wireless A, N, and AC, offering quicker speeds with a strong signal. However, because its waves are longer, they struggle to pass through walls and obstacles, which can reduce performance. On the other hand, 2.4 GHz travels further and penetrates better, making it more reliable in most homes. As you move away from the router, the 2.4 GHz option often becomes faster.
