5G Poll
I shared information about 5G for a school assignment, but this is simply genuine interest. What are your opinions? Do you back it? Why?
I don’t back anything up unless absolutely necessary. I won’t upgrade my phone or pay extra just for a better version. However, I’m all for those who do want this. I use minimal mobile data most of the time, and wherever I go there’s always Wi-Fi available.
If this were a genuine issue, authorities would absolutely not permit it. Improved internet speed brings no risks at all.
I understand, there should be a third choice as well. I’m not opposed to 5G, but I won’t buy a phone solely for its 5G capability. Since reliable 4G isn’t available in many areas, I don’t think it’s worth spending a lot on an expensive 5G device that wouldn’t offer real value.
I don't believe anyone on this forum opposes it. The people online against it probably never completed high school or didn't pass science. It's non-ionizing "radiation," meaning it doesn't impact your cells in any way—good or bad. Like FM radio or WiFi, it's still non-ionizing. No matter how high 5G is on the electromagnetic spectrum, it remains non-ionizing. But those who don't understand see "radiation" and panic, which is why I say they didn't pass science. Then they take small details and distort the meaning to match their views.
It's accurate that intense energy can damage your skin, especially with powerful devices. Consider the size of a microwave and the power required to cook food. The Inverse Square Law explains why real risks from towers like 4g and 5g are minimal. The FCC allows up to 500 watts per channel, but most urban and suburban towers operate at 100 watts or less. Over roughly 10 inches, that translates to about 1 watt of energy.
