5960x plus Dominator Platinum remains stable during overclocking.
Hey everyone
! I'm new here and am in need of some major help.
First off, the setup:
Rampage V Extreme
Intel i7 5960x, watercooled (H110i)
Dominator Platinum 16GB
Titan X - x2 in SLi
AX1200i PSU
So. The issue....
I can't for the freaking life of me even overclock stable to 4ghz. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I have no idea, but I'd really like some input ^_^
Basically....
-Enable XMP
-Overclock to 4ghz
-Cant freaking remotely find the right voltage to keep it stable (Prime95 stops after a few seconds/minutes). For a while it seemed to work fine around 1.15 (even ran prime for a good 30 minutes) but after restarting it didn't want to boot.
Attached is a IMGUR folder with tons of screenshots.
I've been trying nonstop to actually get this running correctly. Help?

Consider testing RAM at stock settings. Pushing X99's IMC to 3250Mhz is challenging. Certain CPUs struggle with OCing core speed on a 125 BCLK CPU strap. Memory speeds are compatible only with specific straps. Straps like 2133, 2400, 2666, and 3200 tend to perform better with a 100 strap setup. 2800 and 3000 are more suitable for a 125 strap configuration. You might need to trade off memory speed for higher CPU core performance. It's also possible your OC settings are incorrect. Additionally, your cache frequency is currently underclocked to 2.5ghz compared to the stock 3ghz.
