Hey everyone, I've been experimenting with my 5900x setup for some time now. I'm using PBO +200, motherboard limits, and a negative offset. It runs smoothly across all cores at -30°C, except for the top core which struggles around -20°C. Interestingly, my second-best core ends up outperforming it—peaking between 5.075-5.11GHz while mine sits around 5.025-5.05. During earlier stability tests, hitting -30 on all cores, including the less stable one, caused a noticeable performance shift: my best core dropped to 5.1 and my second-best to 5.05. Why does my top core need higher voltage yet underperform compared to the second-best? Could this suggest that AMD's designated top cores aren't quite right? Just to confirm, I made sure -30 was stable for all cores except mine, with light tasks working fine.

It's not a cause for concern. The temperature is comfortably warm.

The recommended best cores are simply those Windows will focus on using. This mainly means they'll be pushed harder and might require a slightly higher voltage for stability. It's also tied to the default settings, so once you start overclocking or underclocking, the results become uncertain.

I wasn't focused on voltage or temperature concerns, but I wanted to know about the BIOS settings you've activated. Your boost clocks seem impressive—did you make any adjustments there? Also, your temperatures are looking solid; was everything running smoothly with proper cooling and a stable environment?
