You're weighing two Ryzen options—5800X and 5900X—for your 3070. The price gap is small, but you're focusing on performance for gaming and light editing, with a lot of multitasking. You're aiming for long-term reliability, hoping an 8-core setup will hold up for years or possibly even more. Considering future needs, you're open to either 8 or 12 cores, depending on what feels right now.

If you intend to play and stream together, opting for a higher resolution like 5900x would be more future-proof, though 5800x works just as well. However, performance improvements for games are coming soon with the Xbox Series X and PS5, especially for multi-core processing.

The setup is fine for eight processors, but that doesn’t require additional hardware.

He's broadcasting and handling videos... but the 5800x doesn't look good, I'd prefer the 5700x instead.

It's impossible to determine value without something existing.

The 3800x resolution works for me. However, you're right, it has its merits.

I just wanted to fix a small detail—I wasn’t streaming, I was watching streams or videos in other tabs while playing. Also, I’m thinking about making my purchases based on what might work later, not just what’s available now.

It seems you're considering a resolution of either 5800x or 5700x once it's available.
