You can configure affinity in Windows Task Manager for Prime95 to simulate stress per core. For instance, to target core 0, assign it CPU 0 and 1, core 1 to CPU 2 and 3, and so on. This helps identify unstable cores and lets you fine-tune CO values accordingly. Adjusting CO may require patience, especially with eight cores—my experience was around sixteen—and you can shorten the test by running a quick five-minute session. If it fails, lower CO; if it succeeds, gradually reduce it by two until stability is confirmed. After setting all affinities, you can stress-test each core individually over several hours to ensure reliability.
