To maintain stable temperatures for your 5800X during gaming or heavy use, aim for a range of 46-60°C when idle and around 84°C under load. Even with a 360mm AIO, achieving consistent cooling can be challenging.

Lower the voltage a bit, I’m facing the same problem with my Core i9-13900k. The temperatures are really high. I’ve been adjusting the voltage and running stress tests for over four hours. Look at my post for details.

That’s actually within typical temperature ranges. It’s normal for the CPU to warm up under full load. Voltage adjustments are common, and there’s plenty of guidance available for PBO2 and Ryzen 5000 optimization.

Ideal temperatures remain stable as long as your processor speeds match the advertised numbers for the 5800X3D. Be aware that with Zen 3, it usually stays hot during high loads (within the available range), which is considered normal.

This behavior is completely typical for a stock 5800x and indicates no overheating. For cooler operation you might explore Zen3 Curve Optimizer undervolting, though currently there’s nothing to address. Every week for two years this same concern keeps coming up—same CPU questions, same results.
