You should consider replacing the SSD as your best choice here. The PSU you mentioned seems cleverly hidden, and opting for a more user-friendly case with extra fans is clearly the smarter move. Upgrading to a 3200 series drive will affect performance, particularly if you plan to boost your GPU capabilities.
