5080 model on 4.0 riser
I recently bought a Lian Li Sup01 case and an RTX 5080, but I'm having trouble getting it to show anything inside. Even with power connected, it doesn't display. I also encountered issues with a 5.0 riser setup. Any suggestions on how to resolve this or work around it? The riser cable I have is the one included, but I'm trying to use alternatives if needed.
It might be due to several factors when adding risers. The riser could be defective, you may need to install Gen4 on the motherboard, or the GPU itself might be faulty. I’d begin by forcing Gen4 for that slot and observe the outcome. Additionally, I’d test the GPU without the riser.
