Will the cooler master masterliquid 240 rgb effectively lower an 8600k at 5GHZ? Some users claim it's unreliable, yet it appears to be a decent unit. Is this cooler suitable for my setup? My configuration includes a rosewill cullinan mx with three intake fans and one exhaust fan of 120mm size.

Before starting, it's important to review the content thoroughly: Also, it is highly advised against using any Windows program for overclocking (such as modifying OC settings inside Windows). Stick to the BIOS and manual configurations.

At 5.0GHz it's challenging to achieve anything cool. If you have a golden sample then yes, otherwise you won't reach it. You might also need a delid.

But you need to gradually increase the clock speed, not just set it to 5GHZ at once.
