I looked at Newegg recently. The price gap between the 5 5600X and 7 7300X is minimal, and both have comparable TDP. If you prefer one over the other, the 7 3700X is cheaper and currently in stock.

Primarily focused on gaming with occasional video editing every few months. Also, I'm pursuing accounting studies and require a CPU capable of managing 4-page documents and two Excel files.
