4x8GB Corsair Vengeance is a high-performance motherboard offering robust speed and reliability.
Hello everyone. My system runs an R9 5900X, a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite, a 3080Ti, and two 8 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM modules (RDRAM DDR4-3600 C18). I recently added another pair of these sticks, also from Corsair but with the Vengeance RGB Pro model (DDR4-3600 C18 2x8GB). Recently, I've experienced some delays when using my keyboard while playing Minecraft. This issue appears intermittently, especially during fast block placement or movement. I run mods and shaders for Minecraft on a dedicated 8 GB RAM setup, where performance stays stable at around 200 FPS. However, the input lag seems to have started after installing more RAM. When I press keys, characters move slightly on their own, and pressing ESC or inventory only triggers after a short delay. After removing those two sticks of RAM, the lag disappeared completely. My questions are: can these four RAM modules communicate properly? Or is there another problem with my PC? Each stick has identical speeds (18-22-22-42) and operates at 3600MHz. The only difference I noticed was a slight variation in model names—one listed as CMG16GX4M2D3600C18 and the other as CMW16GX4M2D3600C18. After installation, my system reports 32 GB of RAM, and XMP profile unlocked the full 3600 MHz speed. I searched online but couldn't find any relevant information. Did I purchase the wrong RAM modules, or are they functioning correctly together? Thank you in advance for your help.
It functions smoothly with just two Corsair Vengeance RS sticks at 8GB each. Adding another pair of Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 8GB causes performance issues. The same brand delivers consistent speeds, but the increased capacity creates lag. A higher total capacity like four 16GB sticks might be a better choice instead.
