Hi everyone, after a month of my CPU running at 4.74 with idle at 60°C (in BIOS), I'm using a 212 EVO. What do you suggest for an upgrade? My budget is around 80. Also, the maximum voltage rating is 240 or 280. Any fan suggestions would be great—prefer fast airflow but also quiet operation, and LED lighting if possible.

The 212 Evo isn't the top choice for that CPU, but this model is great, budget-friendly, and available in various colors: http://www.phanteks.com/PH-TC14PE.html

The 212 Evo isn't the top choice for that CPU, but it's a great option. It's affordable, available in various colors, and costs around $70. It's liquid-friendly since my PC gets noisy, though I'm curious how much better it is compared to the Evo.

It operates extremely quietly, with temperatures staying below 60c even when working hard.

With my EVO it was around 30c idle but with the stock settings now it idles at 60c in BOIS.
What are your clock readings?

Stock clocks are not the right focus when checking idle temperatures, since the CPU operates continuously at maximum capacity. The 60°C reading isn't an idle temperature.

Stock clocks are not the best reference for idle temperatures since the CPU is always running at maximum capacity. The 60°C reading isn't accurate for idle conditions. In BIOS without a load, it's around 60°C; during gaming tasks, such as in GTA V, it rises to about 85°C.

You've got solid suggestions for better coolers. On the Evo, you won't get much better.
