I'm just getting started with overclocking. Usually I'd avoid it, but out of curiosity I'm trying to find out how much more or less risk is involved.
My setup is an i5-6600k paired with a Noctua NH-d15. The current settings are 4.5ghz with adaptive 1.26v. At idle temperatures I keep under 40°C, and during load I haven't reached 55°C (in Celsius).
