I recently enhanced my whole setup, here are the parts listed. I’m facing a color banding problem and haven’t managed to fix it. Everything seems new and high quality, yet the issue persists. I’m not particularly skilled in video/graphics, so I’m seeking advice. Games generally look fine, but problems arise with gradients and sometimes black areas. My specs include: LG 34WP60C-B.AUS 34" 2K QHD I7-13700K PNY XLR8 RTX 4070 ti 32 GB G Skill DDR5 6000 ASUS Z790-Plus TUF Gaming WiFi D5 G Skill 850W PSU Lian LI Galahad 360 AIO Hyte Y40.
1.) Open NVIDIA Control Panel 2.) In the left panel, find the "DISPLAY" section and choose "Change Resolution" 3.) Click the monitor icon (if you have several) for the one you wish to adjust and scroll down fully. 4.) Pick "Use NVIDIA Settings" 5.) Set "Output Color Depth" to the highest available and adjust Output Dynamic Range to "FULL" 6.) Save your changes.
Note: Many high-res, high-refresh monitors may not support FULL dynamic range at 10bpc due to bandwidth limits; you should opt for 8bpc if you also want deeper blacks.

During my build, I worked 16-hour days without sleeping more than a couple of hours each day. It became clear from reviewing my cable setup that I connected my monitor to the motherboard’s display port instead of the GPU. When opening Nvidia Control Panel, there was no Display option in the left panel. I glanced at the back of my tower and felt a strong reaction. Thanks to everyone who responded, even if it seemed like my mistake all along.
