Hey everyone, I'm feeling a bit stuck with my next build. At first, I was considering just picking an R5 3600, but then I looked into a B450 board or a more affordable X570. The announcement of the R3 3300X seemed promising, but I wasn't sure why it would work for both B450 and X570. Recently, the B550 board came up, which made me question everything. I can't find an R5 1600AF in NZ or Australia right now. Maybe I should hold off until the Intel series launches fully and reassess. Any advice would be really helpful!

It's being used for gaming or general purposes. For gaming, the 3300x offers similar performance to 3600x but at a lower cost. If your PC is meant for work tasks, a 3600 provides better value.
